Then listen to wild Pirate tales and ancient Micmac legends - there is even a Library to Go!SAILS - Build and launch a model sailboat at the Settlers Museum

Admission is freeKate Inglis lives on the far eastern coastline of Nova Scotia, where she was born. Her first book by Nimbus, The Dread Crew is a swashbuckling Pirate tale, beautifully illustrated by Halifax native Sydney Smith.

The Treasures of Mahone Bay Festival (July 14-15, 2012) is hosted by and in support of The Mahone Bay Founders Society. The Society is dedicated to the stewardship of our area heritage and operates the Mahone Bay Settlers Museum, a vibrant community based organization, serving and engaging residents and visitors through the preservation and celebration of our unique history and culture.
