Named one of Canada's best small-town downtowns by Harrowsmith Country Life Magazine, in Mahone Bay you can take your time -- stroll the waterfront, hike our extensive network of trails, visit unique artisans, shops and flea markets, dine in our wonderful cafés and delis, take in a musical performance - then watch the sun set over the bay from the verandah one of our restaurants or bed and breakfasts.

Mahone Bay - A Treasure Since 1754

The Treasures of Mahone Bay Festival (July 9-10, 2011) is hosted by and in support of The Mahone Bay Founders Society. The Society is dedicated to the stewardship of our area heritage and operates the Mahone Bay Settlers Museum, a vibrant community based organization, serving and engaging residents and visitors through the preservation and celebration of our unique history and culture.
