GETTING STARTED
Drop in to register between 5 and 9 Friday evening to be ready for an early start on Saturday morning. You might even get some painting in on Friday if you are eager! more wet art means more sales!

ALL MEDIA WELCOME!
Besides watercolour, oil, pastel, acrylic, we welcome collage, and mixed media - all original works, please.

OUTDOORS
Create your paintings of streetscapes, seascapes, heritage
gardens and properties, models in period costumes.
Painting on site is in Mahone Bay and area - Indian Point,
Oakland, Clearland, Mader's Cove.

TOO HOT OR TOO WET?
Print your digital site photo at the Mahone Bay Centre and paint indoors. There will also be still life arrangements of heritage objects in the studios and copies of historic photos will be available.

SELL AND SHOW "dry" WORK!
Bring any matted and framed, previously done work for no extra fee (maximum of 3 dry works may be on display at any one time in the gallery).

CANADA-WIDE ADVERTISING!
We aim to bring a record number of people into town
July 11 and 12! More folks = more sales!

WINE AND CHEESE!
A wonderful Reception Friday night will get you in the mood for the next two days. FREE LUNCH on Saturday. We can also arrange an overnight billet, should you need it.

UNDER ONE ROOF!
The Mahone Bay Centre is an old school with bright studios. The kitchen-lounge-washrooms will also be
available for you all weekend.

WORKSHOPS
This year, with help from Heritage Canada, we will be offering a wide range of short workshops for artists and
visitors (PDF) throughout the Festival. If you are interested
in teaching a workshop - please let us know.
