Reenactment Day June 19, 2004

Tentative Schedule

11:00 a.m. Main Street between Fauxberg and Fairmount blocked off to traffic
11:15 a.m. King's Orange Rangers assemble at Fairmount Street. march to wharf and set up "camp", registration table.
11:45 a.m. Unveil 1st plaque at the Visitor Information Center
  Led by "Cryer", those present will proceed along Edgewater. At the Anglican church they will be joined by members of the Ernst Group. They proceed up Main Street to Bank of Montreal.
  Musicians, trappers, native Indians, and the missionary should start assembling at the wharf.
12:15 p.m. Unveil 2nd plaque at the Bank of Montreal
  (Interested spectators, not in costume, should proceed to the bleachers on the Town Wharf. It is hoped that most of those in costume wil be part of the "Early Families" procession.)
  On the Main Stage, John Letson will act as commentator as activities unfold. If it is raining, the Lt. Gov. and other dignitaries will be able to use the covered stage.
12:45 p.m. First group of families (Ernst) approach the wharf and register with the clerk. Following registration, the Ernst Family Singers will perform a German song.
  During the singing, the 2nd Group will leave Oakland by boat.
1:30 p.m. Second group of families (Oakland) approach and register.
2:00 p.m. Third group of families (Fauxberg) approach and register.
2:30 p.m. Lieutenant Governor arrives / met by Mayor
3:00 p.m. Lions Club flag staff Presentation
3:15 p.m. Presentation of special envelope by Canada Post (on the main stage)
3:30 p.m. Lieutenant Governor unveils 3rd plaque with Minsiter Baker, MP Gerald Keddy, etc.
3:45 p.m. Cutting of the cake, Presentation to Her Honour
4:15 p.m. Lieutenant Governor departure
